Cassoulet of Castelnaudary made from white bean and sausage is the typical dish of Lauragais Aude.

The cassoulet festival :

Each year the last weekend of August the streets of the town of Castelnaudary fill for five days. You eat, we drink (in moderation), you sing and dance. A festival that brings together more than 50.000 people. Car park and free concerts are implemented.

Blue and white, the colors of the Feast of all ages find themselves in a friendly and festive around of cassoulet of Castelnaudary.

Come and be guided by the rythms of the Bandas, concerts, culinary workshops, water games on the Canal du Midi….. in the World Capital of Cassoulet.
